Chef Jill Light the creator of all of our show cakes is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, located in Hyde Park, NY. With nearly twenty years experience in all aspects of pastry, Chef Light has become known as “the one to go too, when you really want something special.” She is certainly not just some home skilled baker, Jill is an “Award Winning, Professional Pastry Chef,” capable of producing any form of pastry, including her sought after, show stopping cakes.

Jill’s many professional accomplishments include being chosen as the Opening Executive Pastry Chef for two landmark properties, The Four Season’s Hotel, located in New York City, and Landsdowne Resort, located in Leesburg, Virginia.

Since 1994 Jill has owned and operated her own shop. First owning and operating Cilly & Jilly’s Fabulous Baking Company, Inc., a wholesale pastry and special occasion cake shop, and since 1998 Jilly’s Cake Studio, Inc, a small studio, that gives her the artistic atmosphere necessary to produce her works of art. Jill can duplicate cakes from a picture, or she can simply design one from scratch to your liking; or you can just simply pick one from her portfolio of previous creations, for just about anything is possible with Jill’s artistic touch.
